Supporting the park and our work

The Balboa Park Committee of 100 has worked since 1967 to restore and enhance the park's historic architecture, gardens and public spaces - all through the support of our generous donors.

For new or existing members, we welcome donations in any amount. Donations can either be made online via our donor page using Paypal - found here - or by mailing a check to the C100 office, located at 1649 El Prado, Suite 2, San Diego, CA 92101.

However, to support our projects more directly, you might be interested in supporting one of the various elements of our ongoing Palisades Project, which is currently focusing on the California State Building which houses the San Diego Automotive Museum.

C100 commissioned brilliant ceramic tiles from RTK Studios in Ojai, Calif., to reintroduce this remarkable piece of public art to San Diegans and visitors.

It's still possible to support the mural restoration by 'buying' a tile, gaining virtual recognition with your name embedded on our mural site. To find out more and donate to the project, please use the following link -  Palisades Tile Mural Project

The project also includes two California grizzly bear statues and two flagpoles on the roof, as well as missing ornamentation recreated by San Diego sculptor Michael Matson of Bellagio Precast.

You can support the creation and installation of one of the flagpoles, through a donation of $5,000 for either the U.S. or California flagpole.

You can support the creations and installation of one of the grizzly bear statues with a donation of $10,000 for each statue.

Support for the flagpoles and grizzly bears at the $5,000 level and above will be recognized online and on a bronze plaque to be placed on the building. For further information, you can view our full donor brochure here.
